* Under the Homeowner Protection Act, new homes, including strata properties, must be covered by mandatory, third-party home warranty insurance. Depending on the age of the site, the warranty may cover labour and materials, mechanical systems, building envelope and/or the structure. Prior to the expiration of the warranty, strata corporations will often enlist the help of an engineer to review the building and identify any deficiencies. Failure to identify and claim a deficiency can result in the strata corporation having to do the repairs themselves, which may be costly. Engineer’s Reports and Warranty Submissions can be lengthy and onerous to interpret. Condo Clear Services can help by reviewing the documents and advising on the current status of the claim.

Condo Clear Services is a real estate brokerage licensed by the Real Estate Council of B.C. We have hands-on experience managing strata corporations and strata property issues, from day to day operations to big challenges such as warranty claims, insurance claims, and building remediation. He has been involved with the management of some of the most complicated and highly recognizable strata corporations in the province. Aside from his professional experience, Ryan has also been an owner, investor, and council member in multiple strata corporations over the last 10+ years. This has resulted in a level of experience which is difficult to rival in the industry. This experience includes, but is not limited to, leaky condo remediation, sections, depreciation reports, and new home warranty. Ryan’s vision is to provide potential buyers with a resource they can depend on when purchasing a home or investment.
